Nick Cave arrives at Westminster Abbey ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III

Australian musician Nick Cave arrives at Westminster Abbey ahead of King Charles III’s coronation – after defending his presence at the ceremony to disgruntled fans

Nick Cave looked good when he arrived at Westminster Abbey on Saturday morning ahead of King Charles III’s coronation.

The Australian music icon is one of the few Australian representatives invited to take part in the historic event.

The 65-year-old was dressed in his signature black suit as he walked in next to Rowan Williams.

Nick appeared to be going to the ceremony solo, with his wife Susie Cave not seen by his side.

He had previously fought off controversy over his decision to attend the coronation, saying it was less about his political leanings and more about his love of pageantry.
