The Kent Police Roads Unit spotted the motorcyclist in Pembury Road on the afternoon of 26 April.

He arrived 15 minutes into their wait, when police officers discovered the rider was uninsured and without a driver’s license.

The Road Police Unit tweeted: “Great job by RPU 5 who apprehended this man with the help of colleagues from our Traffic Processing Unit. He had no driver’s license and no papers and several speeding tickets pending…we hope he has some more comfortable shoes with all the walking he’s going to be doing’.

Chief Inspector Craig West, Chief of Roads at Kent Police, said: ‘Speed ​​limits and cameras are there to protect the public and should not be treated as a game.

Motorists who speed too risk a fine and points on their driver’s license, and in certain cases are taken to court.
