All the Sweet Tooth season 3 news we’ve heard so far

Gus gets one more season to wrap up his story on Netflix Sweet tooth. The premiere of the series’ second season was quickly followed by the announcement of a third and final season.

It is. Just less than a week after the second season came out, Netflix announced that Sweet tooth would get another season.

Sweet tooth will end with season 3. The table is already set for a season 2 ending and conclusion, so it makes perfect sense for the show to be heading into its finale next season.

Has Netflix already started making Sweet Tooth season 3?

Apparently, production has already been completed. This is quite surprising considering we didn’t hear about this new season until recently.

We’re not sure when the season will come out exactly, but with Season 3 already done, we might see it soon. That said, it’s still not likely we’ll see season 3 this year, but it’s at least possible.

What happens in Sweet Tooth Season 3?

Season 3 of Sweet tooth will likely pick up right after the end of the second season, when Gus heads to Alaska with a team of friends to finally find his mom (hopefully).

Of course, he’s going to run into some obstacles (as he’s been doing all along, let’s face it): while Abbot aired in the Season 2 finale, he’s left a new adversary in his wake, one who seems even more determined to deal with the hybrids – or at least turn them into a drug. While we don’t know exactly what she’s feeding in those cages, it looks like whatever it is is going to be pretty vicious, meaning Gus’ polar expedition could be in for some tough times.
