Key players from the reigning NFL and NBA champions will hit the links in June in Las Vegas on The Match.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Super Bowl LVII-winning Kansas City Chiefs will face Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the 2021-22 champion Golden State Warriors over 12 holes at Wynn Golf Club on June 29, organizers announced announced Wednesday.
Mahomes and Kelce have won two Super Bowls between them, while Curry and Thompson have won four NBA rings and are currently chasing a fifth.
It is the second appearance in The Match for both Mahomes and Curry. Mahomes and Josh Allen lost to Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady last summer, while Curry and Peyton Manning lost to Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley in 2020.
The match will be broadcast on TNT.

This year’s edition will be the eighth overall since the organizers created the event in 2018.
The spectacle has raised $35 million for various charities, most notably by donating more than 27 million meals to Feeding America.
Details of the broadcasting team, including commentators, are yet to be released, but fans will be keeping an eye out for which sport comes out on top.

Curry and Thompson may lose their status as the current NBA champions within a month.
The NBA Finals will take place from June 1 to June 18, depending on the number of games required to determine this year’s national champion.
The Warriors are currently locked in a Western Conference semifinal game against the Los Angeles Lakers, trailing 0-1 in the series.
Curry dropped 27 points, while fellow great LeBron James had 22.
Game 2 will be played again on Thursday at Chase Center in San Francisco.
