Maya Jama’s ITV2 hit show is in danger of being axed, according to a new report on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Love Island host plays the role of team captain against Lady Leshurr in the hip-hop comedy show Don’t Hate the Playaz.

Hosted by Jordan Stephens, the program concluded its most recent season in December last year, featuring Maya since its first episode in 2018.

However, TVZone recently reported that the panel show could face an uncertain future and may not be renewed for a fifth series.

It comes after Maya replaced Laura Whitmore as the host of Love Island, delighting fans of the show while dating the most recent series in South Africa.
