A police officer has been stabbed in the shoulder while on duty in Queensland.
The senior constable was called to reports of a disturbance on Jones Street in Rothwell, Brisbane, at 9.25am on Monday.
Police allege a 30-year-old man armed with a knife swung at the officer and stabbed him in the shoulder.

The officer was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries for treatment.
The 30-year-old man sustained injuries to his abdomen and was arrested.
Redcliffe resident Leah Whetton described the chaos as emergency services arrived on the scene.
“I saw all those police cars coming at once,” she said.
“I’ve never seen police cars come around the corner like that with sirens blaring.”
Ms Whetton said police tasered a man during the incident.
“He didn’t drop, he just took it,” she said.
“I saw another man jump over a police car and fall to the ground and then I saw a cop come out of the building with a bandage over his shoulder.”
