Shirley Ballas, 62, joins lookalike mum Audrey, 85, at Strictly co-star Giovanni Pernice’s show

Shirley Ballas enjoyed an evening at the theater with lookalike mother Audrey at London’s Palladium on Sunday.

The TV judge, 62, cut a chic figure for the outing when she supported her Strictly Come Dancing co-star Giovanni Pernice on his show Made in Italy.

Shirley looked stunning in a fitted white blazer she wore over a blue turtleneck and worn jeans.

She slipped her feet into bejeweled heels and completed the look with silver jewelry while carrying her essentials in a black shoulder bag.

The professional dancer had a very smooth face with a light layer of makeup and styled her dark brown locks into loose curls.

Meanwhile, Audrey was the epitome of sophistication in a gray blazer she paired with dark trousers.

She completed the look with a red sweater and wore a stylish printed scarf loosely around her neck.

Giovanni’s Made In Italy show, which will run until later this month, will see him joined on stage by fellow pro Lauren Oakley, 31, who plays the female lead.

said Shirley The protector last year: “My mother, Audrey, is 85 and lives with me, and we like to curl up in bed and watch murder mysteries.”

Further on: “Queen Bee and pretty bossy. She’s not as forgiving as I am, but she has a beautiful kind heart. She raised my son, Mark (now a dancer on the US version of Strictly), from two to 21 when I was traveling for my dancing career.”

“I like to think he has that pretty side of her, but also a sharp, prickly side of me. Everyone needs a prickly side – so you don’t get run over’.

It comes after Shirley fought back tears as she remembered the last hug she shared with Len Goodman.

She appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday in memory of Len, who passed away in hospice on Saturday night after a short battle with bone cancer – just days shy of his 79th birthday.

Shirley, who had known Len since she was nine years old, said the last time she saw him she knew he was secretly fighting with his health behind closed doors.

The TV star visited her son Mark Ballas on Dancing With The Stars last year and recalled that even though Len looked “rather weak,” he still beckoned her for a hug.

Of his loss, a heartbroken Shirley said, “I think it’s very hard for my whole industry because I’m separating Strictly and Dancing With The Stars.

“But I’ve known Len since a very small child and I have a lot of good friends in the industry and we all loved Len.

“He was a very big part of our lives and he was an icon and humor. He could make the rain go away and he was such a beautiful person.

“Of course I trained with him later in my career. He was probably responsible for you know, he said to me, “Shirley, you can take your job seriously, but stop taking yourself so seriously” because I was one of those people who wanted to learn all about the engineering.

“And he taught me more about the human mind. So and I will take that with me forever. He was just so great. He really was.’

Shirley said her son Mark called Len ‘Uncle Len’ as he had known him since he was a baby and that she last saw him when she flew to the US last year.

“I went to the launch show last year when Mark decided he was going to do Dancing with the Stars and I saw Len there and I got my last and last cuddle with him there,” she said.

“It was quiet, even though it was getting pretty brittle. I thought because I hadn’t seen him in a while.

He was still full of humour. “Come here” you know and he loved to cuddle. I felt like he didn’t look as good as I had seen. As a philosophy in the dance industry. We knew everyone was staying close, we didn’t put it all out there. ‘
