Mario Balotelli reveals he has sold his Ferrari AND Lamborghini

Mario Balotelli SELLS his collection of supercars – with his Lamborghini and Ferrari already flogged – after falling out of love with cars (and having to pay 27 impound visits!)

  • He has now decided to sell some of them after losing his passion for cars
  • Balotelli is currently struggling for goals with Sion in Switzerland’s Super League

Mario Balotelli has sold his Ferrari and Lamborghini after losing his passion for supercars.

Known for his penchant for expensive vehicles, the former Manchester City striker has put together a striking collection over the years.

But he is now no longer in love with his cars and has revealed that he has got rid of his Ferrari and Lamborghini and wants to sell some of his other cars as well.

‘In my garage I still have an RSQ8, 500 Abarth and GTR Nismo Nissan with 1400 hp. But I’m also selling the Abarth now,” Balotelli told the Italian podcast Look.

Balotelli has had his car confiscated no less than 27 times and was involved in a number of accidents during his stay in England.

He has tried to defend himself by claiming he was not guilty of all the incidents.

‘I’ve had two or three accidents in England. I crashed into it once because someone suddenly braked in front of me. And one drove into me and then they said I caused the accident,” Balotelli explained.

The 32-year-old, who also had a spell at Liverpool, is now at the 11th club of his career after joining Swiss side Sion last summer.

This move followed a furious confrontation with manager Vincenzo Montella when the pair were together at Adana Demirspor.

Balotelli started well at his new club, scoring in four of his first six league appearances, but in 2023 he only managed to find the net once.

Despite his struggles in front of goal, Balotelli has still suggested he is worthy of a place in the Italian national team, posting a cryptic message on social media earlier this month after being rejected by Roberto Mancini.

He looks set to have a tough job getting back into Mancini’s plans, with Sion going through a tough season where they are second in Switzerland’s Super League.
