Former fitness model Loni Willison rummages through LA dumpster looking for food after becoming homeless

Loni Willison, the ex-wife of Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson, has been spotted in Los Angeles rummaging through a dumpster for food.

The former glamorous swimsuit model has been living in California homeless camps for nearly seven years.

She was recently spotted in Santa Monica looking disheveled while pushing a shopping cart through the back streets.

Willison is best known for her role as Kira Michaels on the hit TV series Expose.

She was married to Baywatch actor Jeremy Jackson, but their tumultuous relationship ended in 2014 after Jackson allegedly tried to strangle Willison during a drunken fight.

Since their split, Willison has reportedly struggled with addiction and mental health issues. She took something of a downward turn and can often be seen wandering the streets, pushing an overstuffed shopping cart and rummaging through dumpsters in search of food.

The photos, obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, are a stark contrast to Willison’s once glamorous life.

Just eight years ago, she was living the Hollywood dream, modeling and appearing on red carpets at glittering events alongside TV hunk Jeremy Jackson, whom she married in 2012.

But having developed a drug addiction, she has gone through some hard times and has spent the last six years sleeping in Venice, where the problem of homelessness has reached a crisis point in recent years.

Willison was found on the street in October 2020 for the first time in two years, having been homeless since about 2016.

She reportedly suffers from an addiction to crystal meth and various mental health issues.

She told her shortly after she was found The sun that she is “fine” and that she has had no contact with Jackson in recent years.

“I haven’t spoken to Jeremy. I don’t want to talk to my friends, I’m fine. I don’t want anyone to help me.’

Loni was married to Jeremy from 2012 until their tumultuous divorce in 2014. She once accused the actor of trying to strangle her in a violent rage.

She insisted she could ‘live on’ [her] own’ and that she has ‘everything’ [she] needs here’ in Venice because of the affluent nature of the area.

‘I don’t have a cell phone. I have food and I have a place to sleep. I get money here and there and there is food in the bins and at the shops. There’s a lot here,” she said.

Loni, who once graced the cover of Australian magazine Glam Fit, appeared to be missing numerous teeth and had her hair styled in a pixie cut.

Before Loni disappeared in October 2018, she opened up about her tragic fall from grace in an interview with DailyMailTV earlier that month.

DailyMailTV reporters were able to find Loni on a busy stretch of Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, where she was reunited with friend and former model Kristin Rossetti.

Loni explained to Rossetti and DailyMailTV that her unfortunate path to homelessness began in 2016 when she lost her job as an assistant at a cosmetic surgery center in LA.

She then claimed that she worked for a short time for a broker who refused to pay her, which only added to her financial, mental and emotional turmoil.

Willison also began to suffer from an increasingly serious mental illness that led to her convincing herself that she was being tortured with electricity in her apartment.

Unable to pay her bills or keep a job, Loni was eventually evicted from her West Hollywood apartment and forced to live on the streets.

At the time, DailyMail TV enlisted the expertise of drug rehabilitation specialist Larry Marinelli, owner of True Intentions sober living and co-founder of True Hope Calling to help families in a substance abuse and mental health crisis.

Larry offered to help Loni for free and even put together a detailed treatment plan for her so she could safely fight her demons and get her life back on track.

Unfortunately, Loni refused treatment and was back on the street within 24 hours.
