Laura Byrne on the surreal moment her daughter saw her naked for the first time

Laura Byrne has revealed the hilarious comment her three-year-old daughter made after seeing her naked in the shower for the first time.

The 37-year-old shares two children, Marlie-Mae, three, and Lola, two, with husband Matty Johnson, who she met on The Bachelor in 2017.

Speaking of her Life Uncut podcast with Brittany Hockley, Laura explained that her little girl was very curious about her naked body.

“This was the first time in a year that I’ve showered with Marlie, and kids are curious,” she said.

“They look you up and down when you’re naked next to them, like, ‘Things look very different from me.'”

“She didn’t ask me anything, but I saw her recording me and thought, ‘That’s a talk for another day,'” she added.

Laura explained that her husband Matt took Marlie-Mae out of the shower, and she heard her ask him, “Dad, do you have her?”

She continued, “And Matt says, ‘Yeah, of course,’ and shows her his chest and face, and she’s like, ‘Oh, and mom has her?’

“And he said, ‘Yeah, Mama’s got her. When we grow up, we’ll have her.’

And she says, “When I grow up, will I have her?” And Matt says, “Yeah, if you’re grown up like Mom, you’ve got hair too.”‘

Laura then burst out laughing as she explained the rest of the story.

“So her face lights up — she’s so happy, she’s so excited — and she’s like, ‘When I grow up, I’m going to have a big, hairy vagina like Mommy!'” she said.

One fan wrote, “Did my mom do this to me in the public bathroom when I was little: ‘Mommy, why does your front butt have a beard?”‘

Another said, “My best friend’s two daughters followed me to the bathroom one day when I was about to take a shower. I thought, “Ah,” got naked and they said, “Oh, it’s gross.” I’m like, “No, it’s her.”‘

A third listener commented, “My kids like to call mine a hairy spider.” My daughter even went so far as to tell her entire tour bus while I was on it, and about thirty kids and teachers, that her mom has a big hairy spider. It’s safe to say I haven’t been on an excursion since. This hairy spider has been chased away.’

Laura explained that her husband Matt (left) took Marlie-Mae out of the shower, and she heard her ask him, “Daddy, have you got her?”
