The Bachelorette’s Becca Kufrin is expecting her first child with fiancé Thomas Jacobs… two years after they fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise
Bachelorette’s Becca Kufrin and her fiancé Thomas Jacobs revealed in an Instagram post on Wednesday that they’re expecting their first child.
Kufrin, 33, and Jacobs, 30, posted the news on both their Instagram accounts, along with images of their dogs and ultrasound photos.
They said, “Party of 5 is coming September 2023. Little Bebe, we can’t wait to meet you, hold you, and watch you grow.” We already love you to the moon and back – Mom and Dad.’
The reality TV couple added the hashtags #pregnanyannouncement, #bebe, #momanddad and #pregnantnotpasta.
In the clip the couple posted, they showed off their ultrasounds to their pups, while Thomas showed off a tan San Diego Padres onesie they bought for the kid.

The post also showed a snippet of an ultrasound that Kufrin underwent, showing the baby’s movement.
The baby marks the first child for both Kufrin and Jacobs. The couple first crossed paths on the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021, and broke up during the season finale of the ABC program.
Kufrin told E! News about the split in May 2022 and told the outlet, “Everything, I would say, happens for a reason.”
She added, “When we were dating on the beach for such a short time, everything went smoothly. It was perfect.
“But for me, I needed more of real life. I think going through that break in that very short courtship finally brought us back together.”
They would reunite and announce their engagement in the spring of 2022, with Kufrin proposing to Jacobs.
Kufrin has been engaged twice before, to Arie Luyendyk Jr. in The Bachelor and with Garrett Yrigoyen in The Bachelorette.
Kufrin told People last year that Jacobs also proposed to her in October 2022: “The thought, care and excitement he put behind his proposal meant everything to me…he prepared for weeks to get it done.”
