With the return of Big Brother and two series of Love Island a year, ITV now has a packed schedule.

After the first series was a success, ITV renewed the show for a further three series.

After seven celebrities had a sing-off, audiences saw a twist on the show – the contestants also acted as judges for their fellow contestants, voting out a star each week.

Between rounds, the stars could grab a cocktail at the bar, gossip with their co-stars, and form alliances with their co-stars.

The competition was tough as some stars had extensive backgrounds in the musical world while others were total vocal newcomers.

Stars on the show included comedian and Loose Women favorite Judi Love, comedian and TV presenter Joel Dommett, drag queen and entertainer Courtney Act, TV and radio presenter Roman Kemp and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.

TV and radio host Melvin Odoom, comedian and impressionist Luke Kempner, Drag Race’s Baga Chipz, singer-songwriter Tallia Storm and Love Island’s Samira Mighty were also included in the star-studded lineup.

Celebrity Karaoke Club was commissioned by ITV’s Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions and Peter Tierney, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment for ITV.

The series is produced by Monkey with Will Macdonald serving as executive producer. The Celebrity Karaoke Club format is distributed worldwide by NBCUniversal Formats.

It comes after AJ Odudu and Will Best were announced as the hosts of the brand new Big Brother reboot on Tuesday.

The Strictly star and former T4 presenter, who is known for his role in Dance Dance Dance, will host the reality show when it returns to screens on ITV2 this autumn

They will play the iconic lead, as well as an additional nightly live show, discussing all the hot topics in the house.

Big Brother was confirmed to be returning to screens when a teaser aired during the Love Island 2022 finale in August. The civilian edition of the program was last broadcast on Channel 5 in 2018.

The rebooted series was originally set to air in March, but the program was delayed due to the number of entertainment shows airing on ITV in early 2023, such as winter Love Island and the All Stars edition of I’m A Celebrity.. . Get me out of here!.

An ITV spokesperson told MailOnline late last year that “due to the influx of big reality TV programming in the first half of 2022, we have made the decision to move the Big Brother broadcast to a more prominent place in the autumn to be moved. This gives our viewers a whole year-round calendar of major reality TV formats.”
