I’m A Celebrity fans are livid and scratching their heads after audiences boot the show’s beloved star: ‘Sheesh, the bookies had them for the win’
Peter Helliar was voted out of the jungle on Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
The beloved comedian, 47, who was a front runner to win the show, landed in the bottom three alongside Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry and boxer Harry Garside.
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the eviction on social media, with many stunned by the Australian public’s decision.
Gee, Pete going on Anzac Day while his charity is Legacy is a bit harsh! At least he will be happy with the football result… some of us are not,” one fan tweeted.
‘Sheesh the bookies had him for the win!’ added one more.

“Damn, I tipped Pete to win it,” a third quipped, before a fourth added, “WHAT…?!?”
And the comments of dissatisfaction didn’t stop there with once again blaming Peter’s departure on “young people who vote.”
“At least Pete can enjoy a drink and celebrate Collingwood’s victory,” someone else said.

Another disgruntled fan commented, “So sad that Pete is out. Who am I voting for now.’
“On the bright side, we don’t need to listen to Pete and Aesha’s duet again,” another joked.
There are three episodes left on the current season of I’m A Celebrity Australia.
The celebrities still competing in the South African jungle for bragging rights are netballer Liz Ellis, radio personality Woody Whitelaw and Below Deck’s Aesha Scott.
They are joined by Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry, boxer Harry Garside and AFL star Adam Cooney.
