Jamie Carragher insists Harry Kane WILL stay at Tottenham this summer

Carragher doesn’t change his mind, writing: ‘I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I don’t think the Spurs results change anything about the fact that if Levy doesn’t want him to go, he can’t go!

“I understand the idea of ​​cashing in before he goes free, but like I said, I’m not sure how many options there will be next summer.

“I don’t see him going abroad because he wants the PL (goals) record. So would someone pay him 300/400k a week in the PL when they still have a top striker?’, he added.

Carragher may have a point with the fact that Levy used to be a tough negotiator when it came to getting star players to leave the club.

The Englishman was pursued by Manchester City in the summer of 2021, but was ultimately refused a transfer. Pep Guardiola revealed at the time that Tottenham were proving difficult in the negotiations.
