Love Island’s Samie Elishi and Tom Clare SPLIT: Show finalists part ways in ‘secret’ just weeks after finishing in third place
Love Island couple Samie Elishi and Tom Clare have gone their separate ways just a month after the ITV show ended.
The pair, who placed third during the South African series, split after failing to go the distance.
Tom, 23, who lives in Barnsley, and Samie, 22, who lives in Essex, have mutually decided to split up and ‘focus on their careers’.
A source told The sun: ‘Unfortunately Samie and Tom have decided to call it a day. There’s a lot of love and respect there, but it just wasn’t going anywhere.
“The distance between them was too great and they’re both really focused on their careers after Love Island.”

Fans feared the pair had broken up after not posting each other on their social media accounts for two weeks.
Previously, Tom had said he would love to move to a place where Samie would make their relationship work, but there was “no rush” to do so.
Meanwhile, the pair traveled to each other’s homes to spend “a few days together” and try to make their romance work.
Tom told The Sun earlier this month: ‘I was there for a few days or she came here. It hasn’t been a one day thing, we make it work.
“I think eventually we want to move in together, but that takes time, it’s not something you rush.
“I think if we could, we’d want to move in together tomorrow, but we’re just making it normal.” I’d live anywhere Samie wants to live—it doesn’t bother me.’
After appearing on the popular ITV dating show, Tom and Samie made their relationship official over a romantic date night.
In late March, Samie took to Instagram to share the exciting news. She wrote, “This is my BOYFRIEND to everyone.”
The pair have since documented a number of dates, including going to football together, romantic dinner dates, and playing top-notch golf.
The pair managed to make it to the final and finish third, despite both arriving as bombshell competitors.
But in the end they lost out to the winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and came just behind Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins in second place.
