Lucy Boynton was all smiles at a special screening of her new film Chevalier before it hits theaters this weekend.
The 29-year-old actress hit the red carpet on Thursday with her co-star Kelvin Harrison Jr. during the screening at The St. Regis in New York City.
The film – based on the true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges – will be shown in the entire cinema from April 21.
Boynton took to the red carpet in a gorgeous gold sleeveless dress as she took to the red carpet for the screening.
Her red locks fell over her shoulders as she entered the event without any accessories.

She completed her look with a pair of gold strappy heels for the red carpet event, which also had an after-party at The St. Regis.
Her co-star Kelvin Harrison Jr. opted for a kelly green shirt and matching suit jacket for the event.
He also wore brown tinted sunglasses and matching kelly green trousers, while completing his look with black dress shoes.
Chevalier is based on the character of Harrison, the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner.
He eventually rises to heights in French society as a composer for a fateful love affair.
Boyton plays Marie Antoinette in the film, with Samara Weaving as Marie-Josephine.
Stephen Williams will direct the film from a script by Stefani Robinson, and it will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022.
Harrison’s love interest Samara Weaving recently opened up about a freak accident that happened while she was naked, during a love scene.

The star first explained that Kelvin was tired because he was forced to learn violin and fencing for the new movie.
‘It was a Friday. We were in bed. I was super naked. We’re making out and this is when he decides to go, “Ugh, I just want to stop,” she said.
‘I could not believe it. I looked great,” she added.
“He felt bad and then he was like, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m just really tired,'” so yeah, my lovemaking almost caused Kelvin to stop.”
Boynton recently starred in Netflix’s The Pale Blue Eye, starring Christian Bale, in select cinemas in December before arriving on the streaming service in January.
