Tom Clancy’s The Division livestream shows what’s coming next
Fans of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2the loot-shooter Ubisoft launched in March 2019 aims to tune into a “Division Day” broadcast at 2pm EDT / 11am PDT showing what that game and its cousins have in store for the year ahead.
You can follow it all through Ubisoft’s Twitch account. Today’s stream reveals the content roadmap for the game’s fifth year, as well as plans for The resurrection of the divisionthe mobile adaptation of the franchise. The Heartland Divisionthe console-based, free-to-play sequel announced in 2021 will also be on the events schedule.
heartland has been heralded as a “new perspective on [The Division’s] universe in a new setting’, namely what happened to small town America after the Dollar Flu/Green Poison swept through New York and Washington, the scenes of the first two division video games.
People will also get a glimpse of how the next chapter of The Division’s post-pandemic story plays out, not just on newer console hardware, but in a setting without the landmarks and visual familiarity of DC or the Big Apple.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartlandin development at Ubisoft’s Red Storm Entertainment, does not yet have a confirmed release date or window.
