The Morning Show host Larry Emdur is left baffled as Chantelle Otten calls women ‘vulva owners’

Larry Emdur was shocked Thursday morning when famed sexologist Chantelle Otten described women as “vulva owners” in an awkward blunder.

The 58-year-old Morning Show host confused the word “vulva” with the car brand Volvo, leading to a baffling television moment.

Speaking to former Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott’s girlfriend, Emdur was shot down by his co-presenter Kylie Gillies for his messed up mix-up.

While 31-year-old Otten described herself as a “feminine person” and “a vulva owner” during an important discussion about sexual pain, Emdur suddenly looked bewildered.

“Has this become a car segment?” he asked.

Gillies, 55, predicted the blunder and immediately said, “I knew you’d get that wrong.”

When Otten explained that she was talking about the female anatomy, she reached for the television presenter and asked if he knew what a vulva was.

Emdur continued his joke and asked, “Are we talking about sex in cars?”

He added that there are “a lot of airbags” in Volvos.

The awkward moment didn’t end there. When the breakfast show hosts went to promote Otten’s new podcast, Emdur couldn’t help but crack a last joke.

“You can listen to the podcast in your Volvo if you want,” Kylie added, Otten barely holding back a laugh.
