Strictly Come Dancing star reveals heartbreak after family member’s death
A Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed their heartbreak following the death of a family member on Wednesday.
HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, 24, who competed on the show in 2020, announced his grandfather had passed away when he shared a photo on Instagram.
The singer uploaded the Order of Service from his funeral and wrote: “I love you grandpa, goodbye.”
The card featured a smiling photo of his grandfather Leslie Blaxall, born July 20, 1936 and passed away March 14 last month.
In another photo, HRVY showed the back of the Order of Service, which featured a sweet illustration of Winnie the Pooh.

It said, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
The singer collaborated with Janette Manrara on the 18th series of Strictly Come Dancing.
During his time on Strictly, HRVY was rumored to have started a relationship with his co-star and EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, 21.
“Nothing happened,” the singer clarified The sun. “It was funny to see everyone talking about it. Sometimes we were like, ‘Shall we resist it?’ We’re really good friends and still talk.”
He added that he thought the actress was getting backlash for being “beautiful” and “confident,” to which the public reacted negatively to her.
Maisie and HRVY have reportedly taken time off from their romance after the affair “fizzled out” during the lockdown.
The pair were said to have locked lips during the wrap party, it was reported at the time.
He has since moved on from actress Mimi Slinger, they were pictured together at the Strictly Live tour hotel after confirming their romance in February 2022.

Shortly before, HRVY took to Instagram to share a loved-up selfie with Mimi from their lavish vacation, along with a photo celebrating her 19th birthday.
Mimi is believed to have been introduced to HRVY by his friend Romeo Beckham, whose own girlfriend Mia Regan is signed to her agency, Storm Models.
Mimi rose to fame playing Leanna Cavanagh on Emmerdale and spent three years on the soap before being killed off by Meena Jutla.
Since her time on Emmerdale, the rising star has modeled and is also an aspiring musician.
