A true MAFS success story, she’s found love with her husband Layton Mills and left the experiment with a significant Instagram following.
But Melinda Willis is now facing claims that a significant number of her followers are fake.
An anonymous male cast member made the accusation tellingly on Tuesday Yahoo lifestyle they don’t believe Melinda’s statistics reflect her actual popularity.
“The show ended weeks ago and Melinda is still getting thousands of followers every day, while the rest of us barely get any. It’s suss,’ said the groom.
Since season 10 aired in January, 32-year-old Melinda has more than doubled her Instagram followers from 150,000 to 358,000.

However, Yahoo “audited” her account and determined that her followers were genuine, the majority of which were from the UK, where MAFS continues to air.
Melinda and Layton are one of two successful couples coming out this season.
Earlier this month, the lovebirds revealed what the future holds for their relationship.
The pair told women’s Day they talked about living with Layton, 35, and thought about moving from Sydney to Brisbane to be with Melinda.
‘I love Brisbane. I love it. We just waited for the show to finish airing to determine the timing, and what that looks like,” he said.

Melinda said they also planned to adopt a dog together, adding, “I want an Italian Greyhound.” I’m just a dog.’
During their time on the experiment, they encountered a host of challenges, including trust issues, fiery arguments, and emotional breakdowns.
However, their undeniable chemistry and dedication to solving their problems turned out to be the secret ingredient of their lasting love.
