Netflix apologized to subscribers after the “live” Love is Blind reunion was delayed for over an hour before finally streaming… but no longer live.

The reunion episode ā€” scheduled to air at 8 p.m. ET and hosted by Love is Blind emcees Nick and Vanessa Lachey ā€” only led viewers to a screen that read, “There’s a problem with the live stream.”

‘Hold on! We are trying to resolve it as soon as possible,” the message continues.

The show eventually kicked off just after 9:15pm with Vanessa Lachey apologizing to viewers and admitting that the show was now being broadcast in a live-to-tape format.

“I want to say, we’re sorry we’re late. We’re not live anymore but we’re here!’ with husband Nick exclaiming, “Yeah, finally!”

At around 9:30 p.m., Netflix tweeted a statement.

“To everyone who stayed up late, got up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon…we are incredibly sorry the Love is Blind Live Reunion didn’t go as we planned,” they tweeted.

ā€œWe are filming it now and we will have it on Netflix as soon as possible. Thanks again and sorry.’

Variety confirmed the live-to-tape, saying the show only aired live at a Hollywood viewing party.

The only previous live streaming event in Netflix history was Chris Rock’s comedy special, Selective Outrage, which aired without a hitch on March 4.

The delay sparked outrage posted online by everyone from comedians to journalists to members of Congress.

MSNBC host Chris Hayes wrote, “Would love to read tonight’s oral history on Netflix.”

Comedian Desus Nice shared a meme of Tory Lanez’s dad, posting, “NETFLIX YOU WILL CRUMBLE!”

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez referenced the series finale, in which a seamstress was able to save one of the weddings by tailoring a tuxedo with less than an hour to go.

One Twitter user pointed out how Netflix squandered their chance to retain viewers when another addictive television show started on a different streamer.

“Meanwhile, I’m turning on HBO Max in 15 minutes and #Succession is waiting for me in 4K, you should be ashamed @netflix,” wrote Jomi Adeniran.

Another quote tweeted host Nick Lachey who tweeted earlier Sunday asking “Who’s ready?!” by “literally everyone except Netflix!”
