Danny Dyer tried out the new Channel 4 Scared Of The Dark Bunker before the contestants came in on Sunday.
The former EastEnders actor, 45, swore several times as he entered the pitch-black, purpose-built living space, designed to block out any light and rigged with 50 infrared cameras.
The host of the new show described it as “fucking awful” as he tried to walk around the room feeling everywhere he went.
Danny said, “Jesus Christ. This is terrible. What are these people doing. They are seriously going to earn their f***ing reddies here.
“The f*** you do Channel 4. You f***ing lunatics.”

He was also seen trying to figure out what a table and chairs were, struggling to figure out what was in front of him.
After some time, Danny was addressed by the voice of god and told to return to the hub.
As he struggled to make his way back to the exit, he added, “This is going to be a disaster. I’m telling you this is f***ing mental. I don’t know where I’m going.’
For five consecutive nights, the show follows actress Donna Preston, Love Island beauty Chloe Burrows, The Wanted’s Max George, comedian Chris McCausland, former footballer Paul Gascoigne, ex-boxers Nicola Adams and Chris Eubank and TV’s Scarlett Moffatt, as they go to barrel. on life in the dark for eight whole days.
To leave The Bunker, the celebrities simply have to shout ‘I’m Scared of The Dark’ and they are escorted to the light.
To prove their mettle, each of the celebrities takes on a series of challenges designed to test their primal fear of total darkness or their ability to function in pitch darkness.
