Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn ‘buying £8.3m seven-bed mansion’ in Belsize Park before they broke up
Taylor Swift was in the process of purchasing a £8.3 million, seven-bedroom house in London before splitting with British boyfriend Joe Alwyn, it is alleged today.
Pop icon Taylor and actor Alwyn, who had been together for six years, had successfully made a bid for a Grade II listed luxury mansion in Belsize Park, north London, sources say. The sun on Sunday.
Reports of the couple’s split were revealed in US media last weekend.
Taylor Swift was spotted in London last October, around the time the property for sale was taken off the market.
The couple had previously rented a house in nearby Primrose Hill, reports say, worth around £7 million for the mansion in question.

It’s unclear whether the singer or actor will still move into the home, as land registry records show the property has yet to be completed, the Sun reports.
Belsize Park is a very affluent part of the capital and is home to other celebrities including Noel Gallagher, Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman.
The £8.3 million property is described as a ‘private’ and ‘exceptional historic home’ with an ‘enchanting’ garden.
According to real estate agent Savills, the property also has a wine cellar and garden flat.
Neighbors reportedly knew that Swift was planning to move in.
The private star took the unusual step of addressing her split with Alwyn on stage on Friday nightwhen she performed live again for the first time since the split.
She performed in Tampa, Florida and told fans, “Is it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on?”
During the performance, the star also downplayed the significance of her 2019 song Lover, which was reportedly written about Joe.

The star, whose tenth studio album Midnights debuted Oct. 21, has won 11 Grammys and last year became the first artist ever to simultaneously chart in the top 10 on the US charts.
Before starting the song, she casually told the audience, “The song we’re going to play next, it’s just a love song, you know?”
Taylor Swift is one of the world’s most famous artists and had 36.6 billion streams of her music around the world in 2022 alone, according to Universal Music.

She previously referenced England in her music and spent much of the corona lockdowns in the UK with her boyfriend at the time, who lived in North London at the time.

He also appeared in TV series Conversations with Friends and movies Mary Queen of Scots and The Vanishing.
