MAFS: Ollie Skelton admits he ‘struggled to find his voice’ in the experiment

Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton admits he ‘struggled to find his voice’ in the experiment – before revealing which co-star will attend a real wedding

Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton has opened up about the challenges he faced on the show.

The 26-year-old voiceover said that as one of the youngest contestants, he and his partner, Tahnee Cook, felt overshadowed by their more experienced, outgoing co-stars.

“I struggled to find my voice at first,” he wrote candidly Reddit Ask me anything Q&A on Thursday evening.

“Tahnee and I were the youngest on the show, and you have all these extroverts who are successful, good-looking, and have all that life experience on you that you feel like maybe your opinion doesn’t carry the same weight.”

Despite his initial insecurities, Ollie found his footing as the show progressed, becoming increasingly confident and assertive within the group.

The reality TV groom shared behind-the-scenes details, revealing that they would be filming two to three sessions a day for 90 minutes, with weekends off to take part in everyday activities such as shopping, bowling, golf, gym and movies.

Ollie also expressed his disapproval of co-star Harrison Boon’s behavior on the show, expressing his frustration that their heated debates never made it to the air.

‘I spoke [about Harrison] several times. We had about a half hour back and forth on boys night where they cut the whole damn thing,” he said.
