The Sacramento Kings won their first playoff game since 2005 in a thrilling encounter against the reigning NBA champion Warriors.

De’Aaron Fox was simply sublime in his playoff debut, dropping 37 points as the Kings came out stronger in the second half.

In front of a screaming Golden 1 Center crowd, the Kings overcame a six-point halftime deficit riding Fox and the home electric support.

Steph Curry did have an open three to force overtime but was surprisingly unable to convert.

Rightfully so, Fox lit the beam – a tradition after a King’s victory – further inflaming the vociferous crowd.

Curry and Co. have the opportunity to tie the series, when Game 2 starts at 10pm ET on Monday.
