Dominic West appeared in high spirits when he was snapped at the Grand National at Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse on Saturday.
The actor, 53, who plays King Charles in Netflix’s The Crown, looked good for the occasion – wearing a charcoal gray suit.
He layered the two-piece over a baby blue shirt as he strolled the racetrack before it kicked off later in the day.
Talking to the crew behind the scenes, Dominic could be seen being interviewed by ITV Racing at the track.
After the festival kicked off on Thursday, it comes to a head at Saturday’s race – the 175th annual race.

Rachael Blackmore’s horse Ain’t That A Shame is one of the favorites to take victory at the race after he the first woman to win the National in 2021.
At 5:15 p.m., a field of 39 participants will start the 175th edition of the famous race, hoping to take the title.
And Dominic’s sporty looks are a slight change of scenery from his recent duties filming The Crown in London.
He was snapped last month he followed in the footsteps of his on-screen character, King Charles, when he arrived in Canary Wharf to film series six of the royal drama – just days after the real-life monarch visited the area to perform a royal engagement .
He arrived in character to film scenes as King Charles in the show’s final season, which covers events from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
It’s unclear what event the cast were filming, but signs with extras and the license plates on the cars suggested it was a scene set in Canada.
The actor had his hair parted in the style of the king and was wearing a camel coat as he stepped out of a car with blacked-out windows to the screams of extras on set, before walking into One Canada Square in character.

In addition to filming the series, Dominic has also made public appearances alongside his wife Catherine Fitzgerald – defying rumors of relationship turbulence.
He made headlines in 2020 after being pictured looking cozy with actress Lily James in Rome.
After the snaps came out, Dominic publicly showed unity with Catherine, with the couple releasing a statement about their marriage.
It said, “Our marriage is strong and we’re still together.”
Catherine also allegedly banned Dominic from speaking to the actress as part of a peace deal between the couple.
Lily herself appeared to break her silence about the scandal surrounding her snaps with Dominic while promoting her Hulu series Pam & Tommy, admitting she sympathized with Pamela Anderson after being in a “difficult situation.”
