Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization has left producers SCRAMBLING as he ‘still has eight days of filming’

Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization following a “medical complication” has reportedly left Netflix producers at a loss as to how to proceed as he has “another eight days of filming” for his upcoming action comedy Back in Action.

While there is no news on when he will be able to return to the set, multiple sources close to the set have insisted TMZ that they are still trying to ‘pack up’ by ‘next week’.

It is unclear if they will have to rewrite the script due to his absence or if they will continue to use a replacement for him. People it was reported how they shot at least one scene on Thursday in Atlanta.

An insider also informed the outlet that a number of extras had been notified that there were “production changes.”

This includes cutting a scene, which was initially scheduled to be filmed on Saturday, while Foxx continues to focus on his recovery.

Following the 55-year-old Oscar winner’s health scares last week, TMZ has also reported that Foxx is reportedly “doing better” and “joking with his family”

While he recovers quickly, his doctors monitor the actor and run tests to find out the source of his problems, which have not been made public.

“Jamie seems to be doing better, even joking around with family. Nevertheless, doctors need to get to the bottom of what

happened,” an insider claimed.

The report further suggests Jamie remains in the care of medical staff and there is no timeline for when he can return to work.

The ‘Ray’ star was busy filming his upcoming Netflix action comedy Back in Action in Atlanta, Georgia shortly before his medical crisis and People reported that filming was suspended for a day after Jamie fell ill.

Jamie’s health scare was revealed by his daughter Corinne Foxx, 29, who shared the news on Instagram, writing: ‘We wanted to share that my dad, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday.

‘Fortunately, he is already on his way to recovery through quick action and good care. We know how loved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family,” she continued.

Further details about Jamie’s condition have not been disclosed.

Conflicting seriousness: A family statement said he “had a medical complication,” though one source described the problem as a “medical emergency” to TMZ

Few details have been shared at this time, and it’s unclear what symptoms the Oscar winner was suffering from, or what led to him being taken to hospital.

Despite his family’s statement that his condition is improving, there is no word yet on when he will be able to leave the hospital or return to filming.

Foxx has recently been to Atlanta, Georgia where he filmed the action comedy Back In Action.

The film has been marketed as the return to acting for his costar Cameron Diaz, whom he helped lure back for the film, though she is reportedly planning to retire for good after a series of disasters on the film set. Glenn Close also appears in the film.

Later, sources with direct knowledge of Foxx’s condition told TMZ that he was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning.

They stressed that his condition was so serious that the actor’s family came from out of town to be with him at the hospital.

A source added, “He’s communicating now, which is good news,” which may mean he was unable to communicate at one point due to the medical emergency.

Foxx shares his daughter Corinne with his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline. He also has a 13-year-old daughter Annalize, whom he shares with Kristin Grannis.

His last film shoot in Atlanta seems to have been a surprisingly stressful ordeal for the Baby Driver actor, as well as his peers.

Last month it was reported that Foxx “had an absolute meltdown” while the film was being shot in the UK, leading to the firing of several people.

He reportedly landed an executive producer on the project, along with two directors and even his own driver.

According to The Sun, an employee was fired in connection with an apparent scam to gain access to £33,000 in cash from the actor, allegedly in connection with the sale of a Rolex watch.

There was even more drama when it was revealed that production was halted last month after an unexploded World War II bomb was discovered on the London film set just before two major action sequences were due to be filmed.

One thing after another: the shoot has reportedly been an effort for Foxx. He called the police and fired several crew members after allegedly being targeted in a scam, and production was temporarily halted after an unexploded World War II bomb was found on set in the UK; seen in August 2022

The shooting, which was initially intended to be Cameron’s triumphant return to the movie business, has instead become a nightmare for her and the rest of the cast.

A friend of the Mask star revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com that she will probably retire for good once she wraps up her comeback movie because of all the drama surrounding it, though she’s also apparently against the standard arguments and criticism that come with every movie set.

Few details about the film’s plot or characters have been revealed.

Pictures from Monday appeared to show Foxx coaching the women’s football team, but he and Diaz were seen on set in the UK last month filming what appeared to be action sequences in a snowy forest.
