A cat who has to wear sunglasses because he was born without eyelids now owns a collection of 100 trendy sunglasses.
Karen McGill, 55, of California, is the proud owner of Bagel, 10, who was born without eyelids due to a medical condition.
Bagel now has to wear glasses to protect her eyes, but also likes to don the occasional funky pair from her hefty collection, especially on the catwalk.
Owner Karen has spent more than $6,200 on sunglasses for her fur baby and admits that Bagel owns at least a hundred pairs of sunglasses.
The pair also enjoy traveling together, as they’ve taken at least three road trips across the US, and Bagel has also been joining Karen on flights since she was six months old.

She said, “Her sunglasses are medically necessary because she was born without eyelids. However, she has a huge collection of other sunglasses that she wears for fun.
“Bagel is such a unique cat and very sweet to most other animals. I can’t resist taking pictures and videos of her.
“She’s been to New York Fashion Week twice and LA Fashion Week three times, but Paris is definitely on the agenda.
“People can’t believe she wears such long dresses and she’s been in fashion week. They think it’s really cool and always ask how she’s so chill.
“Everything is always about the dogs, and I feel like cats are always underrepresented and a lot of people have a disdain for cats.

Karen often dressed up Bagel for adorable photo shoots, saying cats are just as awesome as dogs
“I try to break that stereotype in people and show them that cats are just as wonderful animals as dogs.
“However, I’ve noticed that major brands still have issues with cats like Bagel and don’t want to work with her.
“I hope one day we can break the habit and represent cats like Bagel on store shelves.”
