A manhunt has been launched to track down a bar patron who punched a female security guard in the face before fleeing.
The brutal attack was captured on CCTV in February at a pub in Newstead on Commercial Road in north Brisbane.
The female security officer, 29, was seen staggering backwards from the force of the blow – before the man was led away from the venue by another woman.
The dramatic attack unfolded as a group of patrons sat around tables and chairs in the pub and stood as the security guard moved about.
She was seen talking to another woman before approaching the bald man wearing a white T-shirt and jeans while holding a drink.
The shocking incident was captured on CCTV at the Newstead pub (pictured) on February 25.

The footage showed him looking back at the location and brushing away the hands of one of the women.
The group left the scene before police arrived.
The guard was later taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with facial injuries.
Police released footage of the incident on Friday in the hope that those captured on CCTV could help with their investigation.
Investigations are underway.
