Moore was not present at the $33,000 a year college, but knew the unidentified victim, according to the Florham Park Police Department. The couple’s relationship is unclear.

The victim was enjoying Easter Sunday with her family when she returned to campus for a “surprise visit” from Moore, she told police.

He then allegedly forced the victim into her dorm room, threatened her, and “physically and sexually assaulted her for several hours,” a press release reads.

Moore was arrested on several charges, including kidnapping, assault and aggravated assault, burglary, terrorist threat and possession of weapons.

The Morris County prosecutor’s office told DailyMail.com that a mugshot of Moore would not be released under a statewide executive order not to release booking photos. Moore will appear in court on April 17.

The crime was referred to as an act of domestic violence.

It is unclear why it took Moore days to be arrested and whether the victim immediately called the police. Police also have not revealed how Moore managed to get into the college dormitory.

Dina Schipper, the university’s director of communications, said the incident was an isolated incident.

“The university is deeply concerned and saddened by the recently reported incident of domestic violence on our campus,” said Schipper. NJ. com.

“We take any form of violence seriously and are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all members of our community.”

The college did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com about the college’s security system.
