Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delayed into 2024

Rocksteady Studios has been delayed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguethe sequel to the Batman: Arkham franchise, until February 2, 2024, announced the developer on Twitter. “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time necessary to ensure the game becomes the best quality experience for players,” it wrote.

Bloomberg reported this in March Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would be delayed but still be released in 2023. Rocksteady Studios expected the game to launch on May 26 after an earlier delay that pushed Kill the Justice League of the planned 2022 window. Bloomberg’s report came after a Rocksteady preview Kill the Justice League at a State of Play presentation in February — one that didn’t exactly impress.

Created the February event Kill the Justice League look like one Lot 2 or Hymn Impression: Co-op missions with an emphasis on loot and equipment scores to upgrade your chosen assassin (Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang or Deadshot). Avid players were amazed by the live-service game mechanics and cosmetics-only battle pass – a marked departure from the previous Arkham games. After the event, Rocksteady quietly revealed in a FAQ on the game’s website that Kill the Justice League would be released with an unpopular requirement: it needs an internet connection even in single player modes, and local co-op is not supported. Kill the Justice League is expected to have cross-platform co-op, which may explain the always-on requirement.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady’s latest Arkham game since 2015 Batman: Arkham Knight. When it releases on February 2, 2024, it will be coming to PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. It will put Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark in the hands of its players, taking into account non-controlled members of the Justice League, to save Metropolis.
