Marvel stars Sebastian Stan and Maria Bakalova to co-star in a Paramount spy comedy

Marvel stars Sebastian Stan and Maria Bakalova star in a Paramount spy comedy: ‘I really couldn’t be happier!’

Emmy-nominated actor Sebastian Stan has signed on to produce and star alongside Oscar-nominated actress Maria Bakalova in an unnamed spy comedy about “a failed double agent who turns into an unlikely success.”

The Paramount project marks the first time the Romanian-born, New York-raised 40-year-old and Bulgarian 26-year-old have teamed up, but thanks to Captain America/Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Maria – who has 510,000 social media followers – wrote further Instagram on Tuesday: ‘Boom! Reveal the secret [baby]! I really couldn’t be happier to share [this] news with you.’

It should definitely be a breeze for Bakalova, who is best known for her fearless role as Borat’s (Sacha Baron Cohen) 15-year-old daughter Tutar in Jason Woliner’s widely acclaimed 2020 Black Comedy Borat Later Movie Movie.

And Sebastian has appeared in several comedies, including Spread, Logan Lucky, I, Tonya, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Bronze, and Tony N’Tina’s Wedding.
