Gorka Marquez claims Instagram deleted his family holiday snaps for being ‘too violent’

Gorka Marquez shared his anger when he claimed his family vacation photos were removed from Instagram for being “too violent.”

The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 32, had taken to Instagram on Tuesday to share snaps with his pregnant fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their daughter.

One photo showed doting father Gorka holding hands with his three-year-old daughter Mia as they paddled in the sea on their sun-soaked getaway.

However, Gorka later took to his Instagram stories to fume that Instagram had “deleted” his post, asking fans why it was removed.

He later claimed that his post was removed from the social media platform for being “too violent” as he was outraged by the action.

In his first post, he wrote, “Instagram deleted my last vacation post!! Does anyone know why that happens?’

He shared a glimpse of one of the snaps he originally posted, saying, “So Instagram took down these photos because they were apparently too violent.”

‘What do you think?? Let me know in the comments and like if you disagree,” he added.

Gorka later reposted a host of similar photos with his daughter Mia and his fiancee Gemma, who is currently pregnant with their second child.

Captioning his new post, which is still on the platform, he wrote, “Vacation memories… Hopefully these will stay.”

His latest message comes after his fiancé Gemma reveals the powerful body confidence message she is gifting to her daughter Mia.

Gemma took to Instagram on Sunday and shared an adorable video playing on the beach with her daughter while dressed in a colorful bikini.

But she admitted that she struggled with feeling “puffy, bloated and uncomfortable,” adding that she had “never had so much cellulite in my life.”

While struggling with her insecurities, Gemma revealed that she went to the beach in pants, but after watching Mia play carefree, she realized she didn’t want to pass on any “negative” thoughts to her daughter.

She explained, “I bought a pair of beach pants to wear on this holiday because even though I know why it happens and how smart my body is, I’ve never been so swollen, bloated, uncomfortable with daily tasks and had as many cellulite in my life.

‘My breasts alone are 3 cup sizes bigger! 2nd pregnancy, almost 4 years older and with a boy this time it was a lot harder for my body. (I know how we feel about our bodies is relevant to the individual and it’s just how I currently feel in MY body).

“I went to the beach on day 1 of this vacation, watched Mia play and suddenly felt relaxed. It occurred to me that if I kept them on she’d ask why I’m wearing pants and I thought about the negative effect it might have on her later if I said ‘because mom’s legs and bottom are way bigger than usual ‘.

“I don’t want her to feel like she has to cover herself, especially on the beach!”

“So the pants came in handy for wiping up my non-alcoholic cocktail, but otherwise it wasn’t necessary!” I have worn my bikinis every day.

“The tops of my thighs were chafing like an MF, but we had a great time at the beach and made the most incredible memories as a family.

“Can’t believe next time we have a little guy with us as a family of 4. We are so lucky and so blessed ❤️

The Hollyoaks star announced in January that she’s expecting a baby boy later this year, and she recently revealed she’s put her wedding plans on hold for now.

Gorka popped the question to Gemma on Valentine’s Day in 2021, four years after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing.

She admitted that they have considered going to the “registration office and just do it,” but it would leave her family disappointed.

While they don’t have much planned, she said they both agree that they only want close family at the wedding, but will throw a big party to celebrate a week later.

Gemma said, “There have been a few times now where we’ve driven past a registry office and said, ‘Shall we just go in and do it?’

“We didn’t plan anything other than we know we want it very small and very intimate. We’ve agreed only close family, a handful of friends and a big party in a week or so after that.’
