Love Is Blind’s Jackie REFUSES to give Marshall back her engagement ring

Love Is Blind’s Jackie Bonds divided viewers when she refused to give Marshall Glaze her engagement ring back after ending things in a very awkward split.

The pair had a very tense breakup when Jackie suddenly ended the relationship with Marshall, before asking her to return the ring, saying she “didn’t deserve it.”

However, Jackie insisted she keep the ring, prompting Marshall to say he “didn’t care” and said it would serve as a reminder of what she had “forgotten”.

The awkward clash divided viewers, but Jackie later took to Instagram to claim she decided to keep the ring because the Netflix show paid for it, not Marshall.

Meanwhile, Marshall also took to social media to defend his desire to have the ring, jokingly saying he’d wanted to leave the show “with something,” as they double down on their clashing opinions.

The pair went through their difficulties on the show and clashed in the outside world about what they wanted from a relationship, with Jackie saying she wanted Marshall to be more dominant.

Things finally came to a head for the couple in episode 10, when Jackie said she was “emotionally exhausted,” while Marshall admitted he was an “emotional” person and said he had just been trying to “encourage” conversation.

In a tense conversation, Marshall said their relationship had always been on her terms before Jackie shockingly confessed that she “couldn’t love him” because she was attracted to former flame Josh Demas.

Marshall then asked her if she would give her engagement ring, saying he felt “hurt” by her actions and furious that she “didn’t deserve” the band, but Jackie refused.

He said, “I would like the ring back. I don’t think you deserve it, because you should never have accepted my proposal.’

However, Jackie said she would keep the diamond ring and replied, “Well I’m going to keep the ring because I accepted it because I wanted to marry you.” Everything I told you in that capsule was real.’

To which Marshall hit back with, “You know what, I don’t even care, you can keep the ring.” Every time you look at that thing, whatever you do with it, I want you to be reminded that you missed out on something great.”

The very awkward clash divided viewers, but both Marshall and Jackie have since taken to social media to double down on why they wanted the ring.

Jackie took to Instagram in an impassioned post to hit back at criticism of her actions, claiming that Love Is Blind paid for all the rings, not Marshall.

She also criticized the Netflix show for showing her coffee date with Josh before she and Marshall broke up, claiming it happened afterwards.

Although she said she met Josh when she talked to Marshall, Jackie claimed that her coffee date with Josh, where he confessed his feelings for her and they shared a kiss, happened after they broke up.

She said, “I’ve seen the last episodes that premiered on Love Is Blind and I have to tell the truth.

“Marshall and I broke up before I saw Josh at the coffee shop. I’m wearing different clothes, my hair is styled differently, and at the end of the video, I’m like, “I don’t know if I’ll be with Josh.”

“I’m not sure the reason for playing the coffee shop date before the breakup, but to reiterate, Marshall and I broke up before Josh and I had our coffee shop date.

“As for the ring, Marshall didn’t pay for the ring, Love Is Blind paid for all the rings.”

Marshall also took to his TikTok to jokingly address the awkward ring conversation, joining in a voiceover saying he’d wanted to leave the show “with something.”

He said, ‘I’m like, I’m leaving here with something. I’m from the area, I’m leaving with something.’

MailOnline has contacted Netflix for comment.

Their breakup came after Jackie failed to show up for her wedding dress fitting and had a meeting with Josh, while Marshall was upset and had his suit fitted.
