Love Island’s Millie Court says constant attention from fans ‘ruined’ relationship with Liam Reardon
Millie Court has blamed the continued attention from fans as one of the reasons her relationship with Liam Reardon ended.
The influencer, 26, and the Welshman, 23, won Love Island’s 2021 series and announced they had split a year later.
Millie has now opened up about some of the reasons behind their split, including that fans kept messaging her to tell her they saw Liam talking to other women.
The Essex beauty admitted it was hard to have ‘all eyes’ on her romance and she now feels it ruined the relationship.
In a YouTube video, Millie said, “I’m going to confirm I’m dating someone. But I’m not ready to tell you yet.

“And I love you guys and I love your support, but it’s still early days and you’ve all been through a whole, full meeting with someone and a relationship on TV.
“You guys watched it all unfold and then everything and as much as that was the best experience of my life, it’s a lot when all eyes are on you and your relationship.
“There’s a lot of judgement, a lot of people texting you because they’ve seen the other person — and it means absolutely nothing — they could just talk to another person and people would say, ‘they’re cheating on you’.”
Millie said she plans to keep her current romance private following the lessons she learned from her last relationship.
She said, “I struggled with that a lot because it just wasn’t fun. I don’t really want people involved in my personal relationship. It ruined things. It was a big part of why my last relationship ended.
“It’s been a while and I’m going to keep this next chapter a little secret, just to see how it goes.”
It comes after MailOnline exclusively revealed that Liam and Millie had reconciled nine months after splitting.
The couple, who ended their relationship in July after a year together, were spotted having a secret romantic weekend together over the Easter holiday.

After the breakup of their romance a year after they won Love Island in 2021, Liam went on the E4 show Celebs Go Dating, while Millie is rumored to be in a relationship with Gogglebox star George Baggs.
However, a source close to the pair has told MailOnline that the pair are talking again, have met in secret and are working through their past issues.
An insider said: “Millie and Liam have talked again, but it’s still early for them.
“They didn’t expect to get back together after their breakup was so painful for both of them, but months have passed and they still couldn’t stop thinking about each other.
“Leaving Love Island has been a whirlwind and now they are trying to take it easy and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which could take some time.”
