Kim Kardashian shares fun throwback snaps of her children in Tokyo

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Tuesday to share flashback images from her recent trip to Tokyo, Japan.

The 42-year-old mother of four β€” who is part of the cast of American Horror Story β€” was absent from the carousel of snapshots, opting to show only her children, niece Penelope Disick, and her publicist and friend Tracy Romulus’ two daughters.

The SKIMS founder aptly wrote in the caption to her whopping 352 million followers: “More from Japan.”

The slideshow showed her eldest daughter North, nine, with her hair in long purple and light pink braids.

In a photo with Tracy’s kids Ryan and Remi, North modeled a monochromatic pink outfit.

Ryan and Remi were also dressed in striking looks typical of the famous Japanese city.

Ryan’s hair had the same colorful braid as North’s, and she wore a plaid miniskirt with knee-high white socks.

Her younger sister flashed a peace sign while wearing jeans, sneakers and a long green braid in her hair.

Kim made fans laugh earlier this month when she apologized to her younger sister Khloe Kardashian for mocking her style during a 2018 trip to Tokyo.

‘People grow and evolve okay??? LOL I’M SORRY,” the billionaire wrote on Instagram after posing in a fluffy pink jacket that resembled one Khloe wore before.

At the time, she teased both Khloe and older sister Kourtney Kardashian for their fashion choices, saying, “You guys look like f*****g clowns,” during an episode of their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The photos Kim shared on Tuesday showed the girls spending time in a 711, complete with new Japanese merchandise.

Penelope, 10, participated in some of the photos, rocking straight-leg jeans and a KISS t-shirt.

North and her BFF Ryan rocked their hair in matching styles β€” two loose buns, a flowy fringe, and the remaining hair blown over their shoulders.

The trio enjoyed cups of what looked like ice cream while Kim snapped candid photos of them hanging out.

Also appearing in the fun post were Kim’s younger children, daughter Chicago, 5, and sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 3.

Kardashian’s latest post comes after she recently announced she’s been working on a “dream project” for two years in collaboration with Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

“Meeting with the master himself, Tadao Ando, to discuss and discuss a dream project we’ve been working on for the past two years,” the reality TV star writes.

Tadao, 81, is considered the most famous architect in Japan and is recognized worldwide for his “minimalist concrete buildings.”

Kim flew to Japan to review designs with Tadao for an impressive structure to be built in Palm Springs, California.

She continued, “I visited his office in Japan so we could put the finishing touches before going into the ground.”

Along with photos from the visit, Kim included a digital mockup of a massive concrete fortress with a roof shaped like the prow of a ship.

The front of the building runs in a straight line while the entrance is recessed and hidden from view by a tall pillar that supports the projecting roof.

The mogul closed the post by thanking Tadao, as well as her excitement about building the latest addition to her real estate portfolio.

“So deeply honored and incredibly humbled to have the opportunity to work with him and finally see this special project come to life.”

Tadao is completely self-taught and his style is classified as ‘critical regionalism’, which relies heavily on local topography to counter the principles of modernist and postmodernist architecture.

He opened his studio in Osaka, Japan in 1968 after putting his career as a professional boxer on hold.

The Ibaraki Kasugaoka Church is one of Tadao’s most famous designs, while the row house at Sumiyoshi is one of his earliest.

Tadao also created The Hill of the Buddha, a famous Buddhist shrine in Japan’s capital city of Hokkaido.
