Channel 4 to launch explosive new dating show inspired by David Haye’s unconventional love triangle

Put Love Island aside, as Channel 4 have just thrown their hats into an already convoluted ring of dating shows with what could be arguably its most explosive format to date.

The broadcaster is said to be planning a new series based on the exploits of polyamorous couples, after being inspired by retired boxer David Haye’s unorthodox threesome romance with his long-term girlfriend Sian Osborne and pop singer Una Healy.

Haye surprised fans by taking the two women on holiday to Morocco earlier this year, after apparently lifting mum-of-two Healy into the relationship for Christmas.

The 41-year-old has since recruited attractive health and lifestyle influencer Mica Jova into the romance after Healy reportedly pulled out of the unexpected company in March to “focus on her family.”

Channel 4 would now like to develop a show similar to ITV2 smash Love Island, with an emphasis on triple relationships.

A source told The sun: “While Love Island is all about teaming up to win, this show will actively encourage contestants to have more than one partner.

It seems David’s ménage à trois has inspired men and women to delve into this steamy new world.

Like Love Island, people on the show will be placed in a plush pillow for their romantic and sexual antics.

“But given the nature of the show, it could lead to even more explosive scenes than the ITV favourite.”

MailOnline has reached out to a representative for further comment.

While the channel is reportedly looking forward to a fall launch, Healy is said to be “embarrassed” about making her reported “trouple” public with Haye and Osborne.

The source told OK! magazine: ‘She had to cut the tie and now wants nothing to do with it.

“David himself is on a different path, he is enjoying life at the moment. It’s all about his ego and lavish lifestyle.”

The former Saturday singer recently confirmed she is single and is focusing on raising her two children Aoife, ten, and Tadhg, eight, who she shares with ex-husband Ben Foden.

She told the Irish mirror: “I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – who are doing a great job.

“I’m a single parent, I don’t like the term single mom because it has negative connotations.

“You can’t do it all alone, there’s no shame in asking for help, whether it’s from childcare, family or friends.”

Haye has shared a series of cozy photos with his girlfriend and Jova as they enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday together.

The former heavyweight boxer took to Instagram in late March to share photos of herself, Osborne, and the Costa Rica blonde bombshell.

In his posts, he wrote: “In the first chapter of 2023, I completely immersed myself in the richness of each passing moment.

“I found myself in the company of candid individuals who see me through the lens of my day-to-day actions, rather than the societal expectations forced upon a 42-year-old man.

‘A reassessment of my way of life will be necessary, because the dress of flip flops, shorts and an always exposed belly is hardly suitable for the climate of my native London.

“I will carry with me the memory of those extraordinary connections forged with radiant minds, who shared the great odyssey we embarked on together.

“I eagerly look forward to resuming this wondrous journey at the beginning of 2024 and picking up where I left off.”
