Jeremy Renner’s daughter is one of his ‘strongest motivators’ in recovering from snow plow accident

He is making great strides in his recovery and is starting to walk again after sustaining serious injuries in a snow plow accident on New Year’s Day.

Now Jeremy Renner’s sports doctor has revealed that one of his “strongest motivators” is influencing his recovery: his 10-year-old daughter, Ava Berlin.

“You really reflect on life when something like this happens. It’s like, “Okay, what’s important?” Vincent, a chiropractic sports physician and trainer, told me. People.

Vincent, who has worked with the Marvel star on-off for the past 12 years, says Renner has the “drive and determination” to make a full recovery.

“I’ve seen so many people with far fewer injuries [severe] than Jeremy had, and they just give up,” he explained.

Vincent sheds more light on Renner’s recovery process, revealing that the actor has been able to keep his spirits up with the help of some laughter.

“He uses humor to stay positive and keep himself sane,” he said. “That helps so much.”

Vincent has since transformed Renner’s home “into a full rehab facility,” including a treadmill that helped Renner learn to walk again.

“We can get him to work out at 20 percent of his body weight,” he explained, adding that the actor was “completely weightless” after the incident. “He had fractures in every limb,” he explained.

While Vincent says he still has a lot to heal, he is optimistic the actor will make a full recovery. “I believe 100 percent that he will be better than before,” he said.

Renner opened up about the horrific incident that nearly killed him in which he suffered 35 broken bones while performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday.

“We kept discovering them, because they went off the critical priority order of one of my dying before them, didn’t they?” the Modesto, California born actor. “Another pause, another pause.”

The Hawkeye star emerged in good spirits for the late night performance, saying he was ‘happy to be here’.

The Academy Award-nominated star described the mechanics of the snow plow accident, noting how lucky he was that critical parts of his anatomy were spared when he was caught under the weight of the machine.

“It’s like a giant metal cookie cutter, isn’t it?” he said. “And it just missed every vertebra, didn’t hit any organs, the membrane didn’t swell — my eye popped out, that’s weird.” But I’m lucky none of the organs got messed up.’

Renner was recently spotted on a trip to Six Flags with his daughter, where he kept a mobility scooter nearby.

“It’s spring break and my daughter turned 10, and she got my niece and nephews and all her cousins, I had to treat them to a good time and to the rollercoasters,” Renner told Kimmel of the trip, noting that he went on rides on the outing.

“I just live by the principle: if it hurts, I’ll stop,” he said. “But if it doesn’t hurt, I’ll try. So I did everything I didn’t do and I had a great time – more importantly, my daughter and all the kids did.”
