Kym Marsh is the spitting image of her lookalike daughter Emilie on Loose Women

Kym Marsh was the spitting image of her daughter Emilie Cunliffe on Monday’s episode of Loose Women.

The Hear’Say singer, 46, and Emilie, 26, spoke about collaborating for the Take That musical on the show, along with Jane Moore, Linda Robson, Denise Welch and Brenda Edwards.

The mother and daughter duo looked almost identical as they both opted for floral dresses.

Kym looked age-defying in a bright pink mini dress that hugged her figure and had a plunging neckline.

Emilie, meanwhile, put on a leggy show in her ensemble with suede boots as an accessory.

Though Kim styled her locks into a slight wave and Emilie pulled hers back into a high ponytail, their glossy dark brown locks were the perfect color match.

Kym and Emilie are currently rehearsing to star as Rachel and Young Rachel in The Greatest Days musical, which is inspired by Take That and opens May 6.

Speaking of working together, Emilie said, “It’s really good, you know, the entire cast is great, and we’re having fun, we’re going to work with my mom.”

Her famous mother Kym played Michelle Connor in Coronation Street between 2006 and 2019 and was involved in dramatic storylines such as the death of her brothers, surviving a bus accident and realizing that her son was switched at birth.

But the actress said she won’t be returning to the cobblestones any time soon, despite her iconic recurring role.

She said, “No plans right now, I’ll always love that show and it was my start, but I’ve got so much to do.”

“At some point I’d like to walk the cobblestones, but I’m too busy right now.”

Kym’s recent schedule has been packed as she rehearses for Take That, starred in the most recent season of Strictly Come Dancing and also appeared in the BBC’s Waterloo Road revival.

It comes after Kym gave fans an insight into her first week of rehearsals with her daughter for the Take That musical.

The actress shared a short clip on Instagram on Saturday, saying she “couldn’t wait” for people to come and see it.

Kym posed for a photo and looked like she meant it as she donned a chic black blazer and leather-look leggings.

She then gave a behind-the-scenes look as Emilie took the stage with a group of singers to belt out some of the band’s hits.

The production tells the story of five friends who dream of becoming famous as boy band stars, and will feature 15 hits from Take That.

In another photo, Kym took her daughter for a big hug as they celebrated their hard work.

Emilie looked just like her famous mother, with her long dark hair pulled back in a high ponytail.

She wrote, “Guys, we’ve had such a great first week of rehearsals for @greatest_days! New shows are always hard work and so daunting, but we had so much fun, made lots of new friends and can’t wait for you to come see us!

Kym is also a mother to son David, 27, and daughter Polly, 11, and a grandmother.

In addition to her acting, Emilie is also pursuing a career in music, with her album Stories due out later this year.
