What was said?

Ahead of the game, Guardiola will face Tuchel, who beat him two years ago when he was Chelsea boss.

Guardiola said he was “sad” as he analyzed that game, but he blasted critics who think he thinks too much about Europe.

“I’m thinking too much because I’m losing,” the City manager said at his pre-match press conference.

“I’m a genius when I win, but maybe the decision was wrong. I made the decision at the time because I thought it was good to know the players.

“I like being where we are in the league, the FA Cup and being here again. That is my dream. We want to try as we try all the time.

How many Masters has Jack Nicklaus won in his career in 30-40 years as a golfer? Eighteen wins out of 130. He loses more than he wins. Michael Jordan won 6 NBA titles in 16 years in basketball. He loses more than he gains.’

Guardiola also gave his opinion on Tuchel as coach after he was appointed Munich’s new manager in March.

‘Thomas is so creative, good structure, connections, really good in the spaces. He went to Paris and did really well, not only did he win the French league or reach the Champions League final, but the way they played was really good and he did well at Chelsea.

“We want to try, it’s an honor to be here against an elite club. We can’t take anything for granted, you have to play well over the two games.’

Prediction

Since the arrival of Haaland in the summer from Borussia Dortmund, City will feel this is their chance to finally win the Champions League.

The striker was a revelation for the England side. if the Norwegian shoots from the start tomorrow, Guardiola’s side will fly to victory.

However, Thomas Tuchel has faced City many times during his spell at Chelsea. The German manager guided The Blues to their second ever Champions League title in 2021, where they would beat Guardiola’s side 1-0 in the final.

Munich has always been a difficult team to deal with. If players like Muller, Gnabry and Sane perform well throughout the game, it could be a tough day at the office for the England side.

Prediction – 3-1 Manchester City
