Girl who ‘ordered hit squad’ to kill her own mother is declared ‘sane’
A 14-year-old schoolgirl detained in Russia on suspicion of ordering the murder of her single mother has been declared sane and could face trial over the alleged murder.
Anastasia Milosskaya, 38, was beaten and strangled by “hired teen killers” upon returning home.
Two days later, the estate agent’s body was wrapped in plastic and a mattress and dumped in a rubbish bin in Balashikha, Moscow region.
Her daughter was arrested along with a 15-year-old boy who lived with the family.

A police medical examination has found that the girl, unnamed, was “sound in mind” when she allegedly ordered the killing, reports say.
This means she could face court for the alleged murder, with a possible maximum sentence of ten years, starting in a juvenile detention colony.
The mother had ordered the boy to leave their flat, believing him to be a bad influence on her daughter, it is alleged.
Law enforcement officials suspect that the daughter and boy then conspired to order two other teenagers to kill her mother for 350,000 rubles (£3,650), which the girl sought to obtain from Anastasia’s savings.
A friend of the family said at the mother’s funeral this week: “I had no doubts [her sanity].
“I assure you she was an average teenager. That’s the worst.’
The underage suspects are all between the ages of 14 and 17 and are suspected of murder or conspiracy to commit murder.
