Jennifer Garner says she ‘works really hard’ to avoid seeing stories about her ex-husband Ben Affleck in the press: ‘It doesn’t make me feel good’
Jennifer Garner has revealed that she tries her best not to read any media coverage about herself or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
The pair, who were married from 2005 to 2018, have remained friends as they co-parent their three children, but the actress, 50, would rather not see their life play out online.
“I work really hard not to see either of us in the press,” the 13 Going on 30 star tells me in this week’s issue of Stellar magazine.
“It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s a nice thing about one of us.
“I just try to forget that I’m there in any way, and the same goes for everyone I love. I don’t have to make a meme of anyone in my family,” the actress added.

Asked if she’s seen any of her ex’s memes circulating online, Jennifer replied no, but joked, “Although I’m sure he’s pretty meme-worthy, yes!”

The private star has been in a relationship with her businessman boyfriend John Miller since 2018.
Ben married singer and actress Jennifer Lopez , 53, last year, rekindling their romance 20 years after they originally got engaged.

They met on the set of the box office flop Gigli in 2001 and got engaged the following year.
After postponing their planned 2003 nuptials due to “excessive media attention,” the couple stayed together for a few more months before confirming their split in a statement released in early 2004.
The then-former couple both entered long-term relationships with other stars, the Waiting for Tonight singer married her now ex-husband Marc Anthony and then got engaged to former MLB player Alex Rodriguez.
Jennifer and Ben, better known as ‘Bennifer’, rekindled their romance in May 2021 and officially tied the knot the following summer.
