Sydney Airport has been thrown into chaos with high winds closing some runways and causing massive delays for the Easter long weekend.
Two north-south runways were closed while the east-west runway took all arrivals and departures on Saturday.
Domestic and international services have been hit with travelers warned of extended flight delays.

A Sydney Airport spokeswoman said delays of up to 40 minutes were expected.
“Sydney Airport is experiencing some traffic delays due to increasing westerly winds,” she said.
“This has resulted in one runway being used until wind conditions improve.”
The closed runways are not expected to reopen until 8 p.m. later today.
Wind gusts of up to 63 km/h have been recorded at Sydney airport and the speed is not expected to drop to 35 km/h until evening.
The Bureau of Meteorology senior meteorologist Jordan Notara warned that gusts would increase again on Sunday.
