Emily Ratajkowski recalls vile slurs
Emily Ratajkowski shed light on her tough times in ‘f**ked up’ Hollywood in an explosive new interview with The Los Angeles Times.
The star, 31, spoke candidly about a range of issues, including an anecdote, first recalled in a 2020 essay, about a party she was supposed to attend with estranged husband Sebastian Bear-McClard and his agent.
In the interview, where she also talked about dating and quitting acting, she claimed at the party — attended by “mean” Hollywood bosses — that her then-partner’s agent drunkenly stated that she was “like Pamela Anderson before Hep C ‘ used to be.
The Baywatch legend, 55, famously revealed in 2002 that she was diagnosed with the debilitating and even fatal condition after sharing a tattoo needle with her then-husband Tommy Lee. In 2015 she announced that she had been cured.
Emily, who was spotted in NYC in the aftermath of the chat on Thursday, said she resented her husband, saying, “I even found it hard to be at a party like that. But then it was even harder to have a part of me so connected to it.”

In her original essay, she wrote of her husband’s appearance, “I thought about it [Bear-McClard] had glided across the room, a room full of men who had kissed Harvey Weinstein’s ring just two years earlier…
‘[They were] encouraging their young female clients to meet with him in hotel rooms. I hated that my husband had any ties to these men at all.”
Her interview comes after Bear-McClard was accused of “grooming” two teenage girls via Instagram before sleeping with them.
Bear-McClard has been charged with sexual misconduct by two women in documents obtained by Variety and “disturbing conduct” by a third.
He reportedly contacted a 17-year-old on Instagram in 2016 before meeting her at a Soho loft, promising she could meet ‘Good Time’ star Robert Pattinson on the set of the movie being produced . by Josh and Benny Safdie.
She claims she was left on set in New York waiting for her scene to be called and was forced to undress in front of nearly a dozen male cast and crew members.

Elsewhere in the chat, she also shed light on her decision to retire from acting after having success in major productions.

Emily’s first major film role was in the Ben Affleck-led drama Gone Girl, a critically acclaimed film that garnered an Oscar nomination.
After that, Emily and her team looked for roles for her that would demonstrate that she was a force to be reckoned with, a “serious actress with a long life.”

And she’s played land roles in numerous movies, from Amy Schumer’s I Feel Pretty, the Zac Efron-led film We Are Your Friends, and a role opposite Marc Maron in the Netflix series Easy.
The last audition she went to was for the 2022 film Triangle Sadness, for a role that eventually went to Charlbi Dean Kriek.
But instead of feeling like an artist, Emily felt she was really being treated like an object.
“I didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, I’m an artist performing and this is my outlet.’ I felt like a piece of meat that people judged and said, “Does she have anything else but her? [breasts]?”” she said.
Now that she no longer wants to be “palatable to powerful men in Hollywood,” she cleared the house in early 2020 and fired her acting agent, commercial representative, and manager.
“I didn’t trust them,” she explained. “I was like, ‘I can handle getting calls. I’m going to make these decisions. None of you have my best interests at heart. And you all hate women.'”
In her interview, Emily also discussed her romance with Pete Davidson and his attraction to women.

Emily said, “Even my friends were like, ‘How was that??” I actually don’t understand.

Pete and Emily’s whirlwind romance ended just after Christmas.
“Their affair has moved to the friend zone [and that’s] fine with both,” said a source Page six back in December.
The celeb couple were first connected in November, after Ratajkowski parted ways with husband Sebastian.
The two were photographed on Nov. 27 during a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.

Meanwhile, Emily is looking for love as she dated comedian Eric Andre, recording artist Jack Greer, DJ Orazio Rispo, and most recently she was seen making out with Harry Styles in Japan.
Emily didn’t directly address the rumors about her relationship with 29-year-old ex of Olivia Wilde, but did give a general statement to the LA Times after DailyMail.com exclusively published a video of their PDA session.
She said, “There are a million insane, inaccurate things about my relationships [that are said.’
Though she had insisted that she is not thinking about men to date, she did admit certain events could unfurl.
Emily said with a laugh: ‘I’m definitely still not thinking about guys. Although, yeah. You know, sometimes things just happen.’
