Murray and Kim, who began dating in 2005, have been married for almost six years after their Dunblane wedding in April 2015.

The couple shares Sophia, seven, Edie, five, and Teddy.

He wrote: ‘Just finished a great training week/holiday with my team and family at @puenteromanoresort in Marbella. What a great place, thank you so much for looking after us.

Now heading to @rolexmontecarlomasters for the first time since 2017! Wish me luck’.

Murray has made it to the main draw of the Monte-Carlo Masters for the first time in six years after three players withdrew.

Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz and Felix Auger-Aliassime withdrew from the tournament on Tuesday due to injury.

It comes after Andy made a major change in what’s left of his career by leaving his own management agency and joining the company Emma Raducanu represents.

The Scot has folded the tennis side of his own management company and signed a deal with the ubiquitous IMG, which owns three events on the ATP Tour and has a large client base in the sport.

Murray founded his own agency 10 years ago, naming it 77 as a nod to the number of years that passed between Fred Perry and himself winning Wimbledon.

In the meantime, the former world No. 1 has been voted Sports Personality of the Year three times.

Despite this, he has never shown much inclination to maximize his off-field earning potential, and has generally been less active commercially than other top players, preferring to limit his number of promotion commitments.

IMG, as demonstrated with Raducanu, is known for enthusiastically chasing earning opportunities, so it will be interesting to see if he can be persuaded to do so in these twilight years of his career.

Matt Gentry, his old manager, will continue to work alongside him.

Murray put in his worst performance of a generally encouraging season to date when he lost in the first round of the Miami Open last week.
