A media insider has revealed how much money Margot Robbie will make from her new movie Barbie.
The Australian actress, 32, is an executive producer of the new film and also stars in the lead role.
Peter Ford revealed on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show that Margot could make “a lot of money” if the film is a success.
‘It gets a lot of appetite. It looks great, very bright for sure,” he explained.
“The most important thing about this story is that Margot Robbie is not only the star, but also the executive producer who was directly behind it.”

The comedy will hit theaters July 21, 2023, with Margot leading the cast as the eponymous Barbie doll alongside her boyfriend Ken, played by Ryan Gosling.
The cast is a who’s who of Hollywood powerhouses, with Will Ferrell as Mattel’s CEO and Helen Mirren as the narrator.
Marvel star Simu Liu, Issa Rae, Michael Cera and Kate McKinnon star as residents of Barbieland, while Rhea Perlman, America Ferrera and Alexandra Shipp are also attached to the film.

The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, who co-wrote the screenplay with her partner Noah Baumbach.
The film is based on Mattel’s fashion doll line, which CEO Mattell Ynon Kreiz said the company expected the Barbie product to continue to grow, adding, “We couldn’t be more excited about Barbie’s long-term prospects.” ‘
The Barbie brand generated over £1 billion in gross sales last year and the doll turned 64 this year, first debuting with the original on March 9, 1959.
