Tottenham freeze season ticket prices for second consecutive season amid fan unrest and cost-of-living crisis… with managerless Spurs threatening to fail to qualify for the Champions League after a 15th consecutive trophyless campaign

  • A season ticket at the Spurs is already among the most expensive in the country
  • Club saw their silverware chances go up in smoke for the 15th consecutive season
  • Manager Antonio Conte was sacked by Tottenham after criticizing his players

Tottenham Hotspur has frozen season ticket prices for next season amid widespread fan unrest and the ongoing cost of living crisis.

The London club saw their silverware chances come to an end for the 15th consecutive season and manager Antonio Conte was sacked last month.

Spurs season tickets are already among the most expensive in the country and there were reports of a possible increase for the 2023/24 season.

However, the club has announced that subscription prices will remain the same for the second consecutive campaign.

Spurs have already been knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League, leaving them in the hunt for a place in the top four.

They will have to do that without a permanent manager after Conte’s departure.

Fans have until June 1, 2023 to renew their season tickets, a much later date than last year, April 29, 2022, leaving the club without a permanent manager and in serious danger of failing to qualify for the Champions League

A club statement read: ‘We would like to take this opportunity to thank our season ticket holders for their support during the current campaign.

“The focus now is on getting behind Cristian, the coaching staff and the team for the remaining games as we fight for the highest possible Premier League finish.

“As a result of global economic events, we, like all industries, are not immune to rising costs and supply chain disruption, along with higher energy prices.

“However, we are well aware that everyone is currently also being affected by the rising cost of living. With this in mind, and following consultation with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, we can confirm that season ticket prices will be frozen for the 2023/24 season.

“We deeply recognize and appreciate the continued commitment of our fans to show their support for the team.”
