On Tuesday, 25-year-old Jessica Whalley could not be brought back to life by paramedics after she collapsed at Manor House Stables near Malpas in Cheshire, where she worked as a transport manager.
In the clip, Gemma tells her fans about her life and how she felt after “a challenging few months.”
The Love Island star began: “The last two months have been quite challenging – we’ve obviously lost my competition horse Sirius.”
She continued, “After that I’m not going to lie, I’ve had a really hard time. Just a little bit to get over losing him.
“It all happened so fast, it was so shocking and then the kind of whole in my life and routine that kind of left it.
‘As you know I don’t have a few different competition horses – he was my only horse I had for the last five years, I was so close to him.
“It had a domino effect on everything, it had a huge dent on my confidence and sort of how I felt in general.” I felt quite depressed, which is of course expected after losing an animal. It touched me quite a bit.

“I’m in a better place now, I wouldn’t say I’m over it because I don’t think I’ll ever really get over it.
“It all happened so fast, it’s not like I had time to process it properly and I didn’t see it coming. It was at night.
“I’m fine, I’m fine and I’m doing a lot better with myself. So I just keep going like this, feel a lot better and just keep busy.
“You feel a little guilty, we now have Faye – the new horse I hired until the end of the year.”
Gemma concluded, “But I wanted to do something, not fill that void and replace him because he was never going to be replaced.” But I just needed the horses and that was kind of my safe place
