She showed up as chaos began to build in midtown Manhattan, with protesters clashing and members of the media scuffle before Trump handed himself over to authorities.

She said the case was a “travesty” and that it “should never happen in America.”
But she could barely be heard over the crowd’s screams of “go back to Georgia, you son of a bitch!”
A male protester yelled, “F*** you, you white trash nazi
“We don’t like Nazis in New York!”
Another man told her to “get out of our f****** town” and “stick your jewish space lasers in your a**,” a reference to a controversial conspiracy theory the Georgia congressman put out in 2018. social media posted.
A few of Greene’s supporters yelled “we love you,” but after speaking for just five minutes, she left.
Gavin Wax, event organizer and president of the New York Young Republican Club, told DailyMail.com, “We are watching our justice system be exploited for political ends.”

“It is very unfortunate, and we are trying to call that out, peacefully protest and exercise our first amendment rights,” Wax continued. “I don’t think they would have gone after him if he wasn’t running in 2024, and they timed it perfectly to coincide with his rise in the polls.”
“The Bragg predecessor refused to prosecute the same charges — it’s completely politicized,” Wax added.
New York Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman, who was also outside the courthouse, was captured on MSNBC speaking out about Greene making the trip to New York.
“Do your goddamn job, Marjorie Taylor Greene, you don’t have to be in New York City to talk that crap, go back to your district,” Bowman said. ‘What are you doing here? You’re here for the politics, you’re here because you want to be VP, you’re here for your own fundraising, you’re here for your own bullshit.”
