Coronation Street SPOILER: Sarah begins her affair with villain Damon
Coronation Street’s Sarah Platt puts her marriage on the line this week as she jump-starts her fling with villain Damon Hay.
In recent scenes, the pair shared a heart-to-heart secret as Sarah tries to talk him into going easy on her brother Nick Tilsley, with the Underworld manager resisting the temptation to cheat on Adam Barlow.
However, in the next few scenes, anger will turn to passion as Sarah confronts Damon for an interview in a business deal – with the pair’s undeniable sizzling chemistry.
And after falling for Damon’s charms, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) is soon racked with guilt over betraying her husband Adam (Sam Robertson) – but will her remorse force her to be honest?
The drama begins when Sarah’s car gets blocked and while Adam is at work and unavailable to help, Sarah turns to Damon (Ciarán Griffiths) who gives her a lift to the hotel for her meeting.

However, much to her chagrin, Damon hangs out at a nearby table, where he witnesses copper Lulu making disparaging remarks about Sarah’s designs.
To this, Damon saunters about pretending to be a music magnate impressed by the designs, before giving Sarah his card with his room number on the back.
Despite Lulu then changing her mind about the designs, an angry Sarah later storms into Damon’s room to confront him for interfering in her meeting.
Far from surprised by Sarah’s anger, a stunned Damon simply hands her a glass of champagne.
After drinking the potion, Sarah suddenly throws caution to the wind and leans in for a passionate kiss with Damon.
Later in the week, Sarah and Leanne (Jane Danson) are gutted when Adam and Dee Dee’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) see new evidence of Damon being released from his previous drug bust.
While Damon later assures a concerned Sarah that he is not out to cause her trouble, he promises to keep their relationship a secret.
However, Sarah soon becomes confused when Dee-Dee confronts her about her relationship with the drug dealer.
